So I really want to fly the F-18 for the marines but after seeing this documentary on Canadian air force pilot trainees start off new then become certified or wat ever....I feel like I need to get as much knowledge as I can get so that before training I am some what one step ahead of the game....So I was wondering if anyone could help me.I hope that I can get the VRS F-18 for FSX when it comes out but i dont think i can buy it...right now i have no money..and i think that would help out ALOT

Hey the vrs f-18 is going to be bought by me so dont worry about it. I will zip it and pass it along to you. Also If you really want info on the 18 I will make some calls to some of my air frames guys that work on the 18's for vmfa 225 and see if i can get any manuals or anything that i can pass your way. Really there is only one way that you can learn that is by doing it. The Marines are the same when you join a new unit you will start out in there training squad. If i remember that is vmfa 101 or 121 i cant really remember. If you are going to look them up there names are the sharpshooters there badge is green and white. Let me know if you want me to talk to my guys.

Major problem with that, The VRS has been rumored to have been completed awhile ago, And that means the only thing he could be doing right now is making it uncrackable, I have talked to the guys personally and if you try to install it on two computers the serial won't work, If you try to rip it when you load into FSX the plane will be gone. The only hopes having it cracked are komu and it doesn't look like hes gonna crack anything at all for anyone anymore. So all that leaves anyone to is buying it. Start saving boys!!!

LOl hey they even said that the Xbox 360 was unhackable but now it is. All i have to say is lets just wait and see it is just a rumor that it is done. Really that is bad business to keep ppl waiting just to see if you can make it uncrackable. You are losing thousands of dollars right now by not putting it out just to save a little money. Think about it, there are ppl right now that will buy the thing this second if it is out. and ppl cant crack it yet so why not make your money all they are doing is just working on the code they already have the model and the skins. So everything they do now is just profit matter a fact it is all profit before and now. So bring it out and let the cracking began lol

Ha! That makes me laugh, "Bad Business to keep people waiting" False the reason why is that they don't yet have a release date which means they have no some sort of obligation to the public, And the FS2004 version is already out so they are still making money.

If i made a product and intended on selling it, I would most willingly take more than a year to make it uncrackable, Keep in mind the VRS is a product that has been in the making for 4 WHOLE YEARS!!! Which would also force me to go to great lengths to make it uncrackable. I'm assuming you don't make payware addons so you don't understand the work that goes into them, And my last reason to prove my point is that the isn't really a team like aerosoft has working on planes, The person making it has put his heart and soul into it so I really hope no ones able to crack that sexy bird.

well it is bad for business. Have you every ran a business i have. Did it for two years untill i joined the marine corps. If you have a product that will make you alot of money you need to get it on the market now. If is alot of work and i know that no i have never made a payware or anything like that but ppl will crack it there is no way around it. I bet you with in 2 months of it being out it will get cracked. I am not here to fight about it i am letting you know that it is human nature to find ways around things. All the payware that is out right now you can get for free. Is the 2004 version cracked? IF not then way worry about it messing wth it more might create a hole for ppl to use.

I have run a business actually i have been working since the age of 13 so the business world is no strange place for me, A lot of devs don't do this as like a job to live off of which gives them even less of an obligatoin to the general flight sim community. Yeah a lot of things have been cracked but not everything is cracked, The flight 1 mustang almost took 6 months to crack. And like i said before they have no release date at all. Which especially in the add-on world means they can take there time with releasing it.

I am not saying that they cant take there time. What i am saying is that they are losing new money that they can be getting right now. I never said that everything gets cracked but alot of things do. So we will see how long it takes to crack it. I know it sucks that dev. do this and lose money because of it. I think that if it wasn't like 50 bucks alot more ppl would spend the money that is alot of cash to spend on information. You dont have to tell me about all the hard work that they do because i know. It takes alot of ppl and money to make games but i dont think it take that much money to make a add-on

Well keep in mind he had to get up close an personal to the real F/A-18 super hornet in order to make it. The cost is pretty reasonable. My view on piracy is people that pirate it weren't gonna buy it in the first place. But that just gives devs all the more reason to make things uncrackable. So the people who don't want to purchase a product don't get to use it.
